Good stay, no complaints, we can't recommend highly enough. This hotel is stylish and clean, has attentive staff and stunning location away to a national park. The breakfast is local with served in the same dishes, fresh cut fruits, srilankan varieties, and the service is very good.

Unforgettable Night
During my stay at a beachside hotel, I was amazed by the design and style of the hotel and the breathtaking view it offered. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable. I loved waking up to a variety of food choices for breakfast and the refreshing juice they provided upon arrival. The sitting area on the hotel loopy was truly magnificent with the soothing sound of the sea waves. I was pleasantly surprised to find no bugs in my room and the bathroom and shower area was clean and pleasant. I had an unforgettable night at Calamander Unawatuna Beach.

The location is perfect, directly at a very beautiful beach with many beautiful restaurants.
The staff is not attentive and not too friendly compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka. Bathroom drain smells strong.

Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities such as ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a minibar. We also enjoyed the comfortable sitting area and the free toiletries provided. The hotel had great leisure facilities, including a swimming pool and a beautiful garden area. After complaining about the noise, they immediately offered another room at no extra charge. The staff was pleasant, but it felt like a big hotel.
The rooms are nice, but unfortunately, you can hear music from the nearby beach bars. The beach is not very good. The food was the worst on our trip. Cigarettes cost 12 dollars per pack.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, right on the beach. The beach is just a few steps away, making it very convenient to enjoy the sun and the beautiful sunset. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the friendly lady at the spa who gave me a relaxing foot massage, to the receptionists who were always available to assist me. The hotel also provided a complimentary refreshing drink and cold towel upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with a great shower and all necessary amenities. The swimming pool was also a highlight, offering a great place to relax and cool off.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff could benefit from some additional customer service training, as their knowledge and attentiveness varied.

Great location on the beach. Two pools with free diving course and yoga lesson. Several sunbathing areas by the pool and on the beach. Breakfast buffet was extensive. At dinner we ate twice a fresh grilled fish which was very tasty.

The place is well-maintained and the staff is service-oriented, from the reservations department to the receptionists. The location is nice and perfect, with on-site parking available. Lucky Tuna, located nearby, is a great place to relax. The beachside restaurant has a good menu and is pretty good overall.
